George A. Goodman became the sixth president of Logan on January 1, 1993 and served until 2013.  Dr. Goodman graduated from Logan University with Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science degrees in 1968 and was a faculty member at Logan for 24 years prior to being named president.  

Under Dr. Goodman's leadership, Logan achieved many milestones, including:

  • enrolled 1,000 students for the first time in the College's history (1996)
  • constructed a sports/wellness center on campus (2000)
  • renovated the Learning Resources Center (2002)
  • partnered with the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide chirorpactic services at the VA's Jefferson Barracks facility (2005)
  • Constructed the William D. Purser, DC Center, a 47,000 square foot, $22.7 million conference center on Logan's campus (2007)
